One of my favourite places in Cape Town has to be Rhodes Memorial, located on the lower slopes of Devil’s Peak in the Table Mountain National Park. There are spectacular view points which overlook the panoramic vistas of the Mother City. On a clear day, as far as the Helderberg and Hottentots Holland Mountain range can be seen.
Last weekend, I had the privilege of staying in the Oudebosch eco-cabins, nestled in the Kogelberg Nature Reserve which can be found in the southern stretch of the rugged Boland Mountain Range in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom. The Kogelberg Nature Reserve is managed in compliance with the international standards set out for a biosphere reserve, therefore retaining its abundant floral wealth with minimal human disturbance. All this is a mere 100 km from the Mother City
