The Cape Town Carnival is set to dazzle and sparkle its way down the Green Point Fan Walk on Saturday, 14 March 2015. This fabulous carnival is all about celebrating our unique African identity and diverse cultures bringing Cape town Carnival ElementalUbuntu meet Mardi Gras to the streets of our Mother City. The theme for this vibrant extravaganza  is ELEMENTAL: Celebrating Fire, Water, Air and Earth – the unstoppable forces that shape us and our beautiful city.

The party starts from 4pm at the Gallows Hill Traffic Department parking lot with the procession commencing with an electrifying explosion of fireworks at 7pm.   This colourful parade will have up to 20 astounding giant floats with over 2000 talented performers that will parade down the 1.2 km Fan Walk.

Get involved Cape Town! Organisers are encouraging Carnival-goers to shine bright, dive into the sea, take to the skies and come back to earth – and celebrate what the ELEMENTAL theme means to you. Dress up and show the Mother City your sparkle!
