I had the privilege of being invited to a blogger dinner, hosted by @ and @CapeTown. The evening was co-hosted by @EntertainerZA. I arrived at @SgtPepperEatery with no idea what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised to spend the evening with ten friendly Cape Town bloggers.
There is an abundance of free things to do in the Mother City, unfortunately though, eating out at the finer restaurants is a costly affair. Not only is it expensive, but deciding where to dine has become a real first world problem in Cape Town.
I was introduced to The Entertainer Cape Town, which is offered in hard copy or through the Entertainment App which can be downloaded and will be valid until the end of December 2014. The app offers over 850 buy one, get one free offers to a selection of Cape Town’s restaurants, bars, activities, attractions and even spa’s. The app includes a link to these locations, a short description about the restaurants and you can call the venue directly from the App. It also allows you to track your savings every time you redeem a voucher. Friends of mine have made back the value of the app within the first month of purchasing it.
What I like about this app is that it allows me to explore so much that Cape Town has to offer, which would usually cost me an arm and a leg. Activities such as a Helicopter flight with Cape Town Helicopters, shark cage diving in Gaansbaai with White Shark Projects and Zip-lining with SA Forest Adventures, are all going for half price when enjoyed with a friend. My #CPTBucketList is going to go crazy with these specials.
I have a few free one month free memberships for The Entertainer App up for offer. All you need to do is follow @CPT_Girl on Twitter for more #CPTBucketList activities and tweet: Win one month free membership for the @EntertainerZA App with @CPT_Girl for my #CPTBucketList.
